Charities and Associations

I was brought up in a household, where we learned that if you can help, help in the way you can.

Many of us feel that we are unable to help charities due to financial or time constraints, or simply not knowing how.

Sometimes, all you have the capacity to do is share information.

Help in the way you safely can.

Now I have this shop, I feel that we can use some your purchases to make it easier for you and for me to help where we can.

10% of the profits from some of the items will go towards various charities.

As I hopefully become more successful I will look at increasing the percentage.

Below is information on the charities to which the money will go to, including links to the websites and links to the items.

At the end of the year, I will send the money and show this on Social Media. To begin with I don’t expect it will be much, but fingers crossed this will grow over the years.

Welfare, health and support services, for the UK’s military’s service personnel, veterans and their families.

“Our support covers both regulars and reserves in the Royal Navy, the Royal Marines, the British Army and the Royal Air Force and their families, including anyone who has completed National Service. We know and understand the unique demands of service life, whether in the UK or overseas, and in times of need, we help to enable the Forces family to thrive.

Our recent research shows that service leavers aged 25-64 need more specialised support. The challenges they face are complex – from low income to life-changing injuries or hidden wounds, like depression or post-traumatic stress disorder.

Armed with this information, we are improving our services for younger, working-age veterans, and we will make sure they know we’re here when they need us.”

Associations

Safe Space Alliance

The Safe Space Alliance is a LGBTQI+ led nonprofit organisation that helps people identify, navigate, and create safe spaces for LGBTQI+ communities worldwide. Our two core activities include maintaining an online directory of spaces around the world that welcome and support LGBTQI+ communities, and helping LGBTQI+ people get to safety.

The Safe Space Alliance offers three membership plans for its online safe space directory: Friend (Free), Supporter, and Advocate. The Friend (Free) plan ensures our platform is open to anyone regardless of financial position whilst the two paid plans (Supporter and Advocate) help support the work we do as a nonprofit with LGBTQI+ communities worldwide.
