Dawlish (Starfish and Shells)

My Porthmeor collection is one of my favourites, knowing that blue and white is not everyone’s taste, I have now created a terracotta coloured version, with beautiful blue highlights.

Before we spent our holidays in St Ives in Cornwall, from 4 or 5 months old until I was 11, we spent those first 2 weeks of the summer holidays, (when the factory my dad worked in was on 3 week summer shutdown), in Dawlish Warren in Devon.

On the 7 hour or so drive down we would always get so excited when we first saw the sea and then those red cliffs.

So here is my Dawlish collection.

The Starfish and Shells made from epoxy clay in my homemade mould and handprinted with UV resin, to replicate the colour of those red cliffs and the blue sea and sky of long remembered summer holidays.

Available as Starfish in large studs, and a statement necklace, with a starfish and clam shells.

Stud pins, backs and necklace chain are made from surgical/stainless steel.
